HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. Mônica Steuer, shown at right, is starring in the Robby Ramos play Alpha66. Directed by Jake Turner, the play will be presented in July at T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre, located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. For more information, click here.

Marina CatalánAlicia Cerón, and Julissa Román were highlighted in the New York daily newspaper El Diario/La Prensa, as a result of them starring in the LaMicro Theater production of Leonardo González's play Nanas. Produced by Berioska Ipinza and Pietro González (also featured in the article), the recently shuttered play was directed by Tatiana Pandiani and took place in June at IATI Theater, located in Manhattan's East Village.
