Pulitzer Prize-winning play Anna in the Tropics is being made into a motion picture. The play, written by Nilo Cruz (who, with this play, became the first Latino to win the Pulitzer Prize), wrote the screenplay and developed it with writer-director Lee Daniels. The film adaptation of the Broadway play will be produced by John Martínez O'Felan and Joe Lamy of Mankind Entertainment and directed by stage and screen director George C. Wolfe. The film is expected to film in Puerto Rico in early 2015. For more information, read this blog in Latin Heat by clicking here.
