HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to “gossip”. In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface. To see what other HOLA members are doing currently, click here.

Howard Collado, shown at right, has been quite busy as of late. He booked a day player role on "The Carrie Diaries" (CW). In addition, he will be in William Shakespeare's The Tempest (directed by José A. Esquea and assistant directed by 2013 HOLA Awards recipient Basil Rojas). The show will also star David Elyha, Victoria Wallace, Pëtra Denison, Harlan Short, A.B. Lugo, Jeannie Sol and Marco de Castro, among others, and will have an October run at the Medicine Show Theatre in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen/Clinton neighborhood. Finally, he is currently acting and developing End of the Century, written and directed by Aminta de Lara and produced by Sinteatro Intimus. The play is set to have a run sometime in 2014 run in Teatro LATEA, located in the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center (home to HOLA) in Manhattan's Loísaida neighborhood.
