HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members or Friends of HOLA who are getting acting, performance or similarly artistic gigs and/or recognition in the media. The names of HOLA members and Friends of HOLA are listed below in boldface.

Gilbert Cruz, shown at right, booked the role of Antonio in the Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC)'s production of William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing after he read the casting notice in the e-mail announcements that HOLA sends to his members and self-submitted. The production (directed by Ethan McSweeney) will have a run in August and September at STC's Sidney Harman Hall in the North West area of Washington, DC.

Adriana Sananes
is recording the audiobook for the Sonia Sotomayor memoir Mi mundo adorado for the Library of Congress.

Bones Rodríguez, shown at left, was the subject of an interview in the blog Ohio Edit. To read the interview, click here.

Billy Martín Mejía booked a role in the short film Defragmentación (written and directed by Juan David Castilla).

J.W. Cortés can be seen acting in the Yovanny Polanco & Jenny La Sexy Voz music video "Como funciona el amor". To see it, click on the video below.

If you are an HOLA member or a Friend of HOLA and want to submit a bochinche item, send us an e-mail. If you are not an HOLA member, why not join? If you are not a Friend of HOLA, why not become one?
