HOLA Member Bochinche

Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting and performance gigs. The names of HOLA members are in boldface.

Ángel Pastrana wrapped up work in the webseries "Naja's Dating Debacles," written and directed by Naja Matthews. The series also features Pete Márquez, Ajayé Brewington, Jamel Bell and Nyla Berry.

Ángel Dillemuth is acting in the play The Tragedy of Tupac, or Who Shot Me? Written by The Entity (George Carroll and Christina Taylor) and directed by Jennings, the show is scheduled for a February run at The Black Spectrum Theatre located in the Jamaica section of Queens. Rodney Roldán played a small claims lawyer in an episode of "The Good Wife" (ABC).

Eddie Antar's play The Navigator (associated produced by Mike Smith Rivera) received a "Critic's Pick" honor in its rave review from Back Stage. Directed by Leslie Kincaid Burby, the production stars Kelly Anne Burns, Joseph Franchini, Michael Gnat and Nicole Taylor and is running in February and March at the Mainstage Theater of the WorkShop Theater Company located in the theater district of midtown Manhattan. Conscientious Objector is continuing its run at the film festival circuit. It screened as part of the New Latino Filmmakers Series at Anthology Film Archives (located in Manhattan's East Village) and it followed that up with its acceptance as an official selection of the San Diego Latino Film Festival. The film, which stars J.W. Cortés (who also serves and director and producer), has Edwin Pagán as its cinematographer, and also stars Mônica Steuer, Giselle Forté, Marisol Carrere and Gilbert Cruz.
