HOLA Member Bochinche

* Bochinche refers to "gossip." In this sense, we use it to mention HOLA members who are getting acting gigs.

Alberto Bonilla and Adriana Gaviria both appear on an episode of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (USA).

Teresa Yenque appeared in an episode of "Law & Order" (NBC).

Inma Heredia appeared in the Around The Block/Al Doblar La Esquina production One For the Books. Written by Carlos Jerome and directed by Camille Monte, the production toured NYC libraries. She followed this up with a role in Jenny L. Saldaña's Please Hold. Also featuring Saldaña and Rachel Strauss, the production took place at the Nuyorican Poets Café, in the Loisaida neighborhood of Manhattan.

The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, in association with the Hostos Center for Arts and Culture, presented the play Borinquen Lives in El Barrio. Written by Tere Martínez (who won an HOLA Award for this play) and directed by Ángel Morales, the play took place at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater in the theater district of midtwon Manhattan and featured Olga Agostini (who won an HOLA Award for the same role), Sandra Berríos, Yaraní Del Valle, Santana Dempsey and Carlos Molina in the cast.

Gilbert Cruz booked a print job for Morgan Stanley and is doing a two-week workshop of a new play about Holocaust survivor Gerda Weissman called Gerda's Lieutenant where he plays her Jewish American soldier/husband.

Pregones Theater presented a workshop production of Los facultades. Written by Aravind Enrique Adyanthaya and directed by Jorge B. Merced, the play took place at Pregones' eponymous theater in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx and featured Sol Marina Crespo, Rosal Colón, Varín Ayala, Modesto Lacén, Orlando Ríos and Carlos Alberto Valencia in the cast.
